Q: Do Jigsaw Publications provide training?

A: No. Jigsaw develops resources, which we market, publish, and distribute to support training. However, anyone can buy Jigsaw resources, whether you are a training provider, or even if you are a student, as long as you are enrolled with TAFE or a Registered Training Organisation.

Q: Are the prices quoted on the website GST inclusive?

A: All prices include GST.

Q: Why are some resources a lot cheaper than others?

A: The pricing of Jigsaw resources is determined by the number of pages in the resource. The more content covered in a resource, the more pages there are likely to be. If a resource contains more information that you require, use the Resource Builder to customise the content of your resource.

Q: Can we photocopy Jigsaw Publications resources?

A: Jigsaw resources are copyright and there is a copyright disclaimer in front of all our publications. We also have a disclaimer on the Jigsaw website: As per the Copyright Act; a person can copy 10% or one (1) chapter of a book for 'study or research purposes' under the ruling of fair use. Please see the Australian Copyright Council's website http://www.copyright.org.au/ for more information.

Q: Can we purchase a licence to copy Jigsaw Publications resources?

A: No, Jigsaw does not offer licensing for its publications.

Q: Can I place my organisation's resource in your catalogue for you to sell on our behalf?

A: Please contact us with all details to check.

Q: What should I do if I find an error in a Jigsaw Publications resource?

A: We welcome feedback from our customers so please let us know your thoughts. Contact us by email, phone, fax, or use the form at the back of all Jigsaw resources so that your comments can be attended to.

Q: Why do some resources appear slightly different to others?

A: Customer feedback is an important part of our continuous improvement policy and all Jigsaw resources are regularly reviewed and updated, so your resource may appear different if bought more than six months before or after another copy.

Q: There are two Preparatory Education Workbooks, which one do I need to purchase?

A: This depends on whether you have purchased any learner guides. The following information should help you decide on which you will need to purchase:

1. If you have not purchased any learner guides before, then you will need to purchase the 'New' Workbooks (example: PREP001WK/03).
2. If you have purchased a learner guide from us before, please examine your copy. If there is a stamp on the left-hand corner stating 'New Version' you will need to purchase the 'New' Workbook. If there is no stamp then you will need to purchase the original workbook (example: PREP001W).

If you have any original workbooks, the current learners guide is not suitable. This means you will need to purchase both learner guide and 'New' workbook to be able to complete your course as the original learner guide is no longer available to purchase.
